Yellow your bright little chest
tender heart tucked inside
with quickened beat

Violet your two flying petals
exploding up and out
In dainty dots

Black your coat and tail
surprising sheen, and rare
except for here

Blue your eyes in mine
promises shared in faith
not in voice

Red your blood on wood
dropped by paws unknown
